Anabel Montesinos, the youngest winner (at the age of 17) of the Francisco Tárrega International Guitar Competition, is currently a leading figure in classical guitar worldwide.

As the winner of more than ten first prizes in important guitar competitions, such as Michele Pittaluga and Cita di Alessandria, in Italy, Julián Arcas, in Spain, or the Raifeisenwettbewerb in Salzburg, Austria, among others.
Anabel Montesinos has performed concerts all over the world, she made her debut at Carnegie Hall in 2011, she has played the Concierto de Aranjuez by J. Rodrigo, the Conciertos al aire libre de Potsdam, Berlin, for more than 4,000 people, and she has performed with orchestras such as the Turin Philharmonic, Italy, the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, Venezuela, the Oulu Philharmonic, Finland, the Havana Philharmonic, Cuba, the Moscow Philharmonic, Russia, etc. She is an honorary citizen of the city of Solero, in Italy.
In 2011 she won the “Premio Chitarra D’Oro” as a promising young talent and recognition of her artistic activities, at the Convegno Internazionale di Chitarra, in Alessandria.
Montesinos has recorded for the Naxos label and her first CD was chosen for British Airways as part of the music program for intercontinental flights. The international press has praised her albums highlighting the beauty, freshness and virtuosity of her interpretations. She has shared a concert bill with Paco de Lucía, presenting “the other side of Spanish music” with resounding success.
