Delia Quartet brings together four young talents from the Liceu Superior Conservatory of Music in Barcelona.
Winners of various awards, such as the Rookie Chamber Music – V National Chamber Music Contest and the second prize in the advanced category at the II International Romanesque Chamber Contest, and finalists of the Spanish Youth Musical Contest.
They present us with the program entitled “Traçant emocions”, which includes works by Glazunov, Reinhart, Yoshimatsu, Guillermo Lago, Salleras and Maslanka, as well as some transcriptions of works by Catalan composers such as Joaquim Serra and pieces of contemporary music premiering works by emerging composers.
They take full advantage of the sonic possibilities of the saxophone quartet and really take you on a journey through the music.
