Federico Núñez, Argentine composer and guitarist. He obtained the titles of Bachelor of Composition at the National University of Arts, (Department of Musical and Sound Arts), Master in Interpretation of Latin American Music of the 20th Century at the National University of Cuyo and Professor of Guitar National Conservatory “Carlos López Buchardo” It’s Argentina. He is a professor of composition and guitar at the Department of Musical and Sound Arts, a categorized researcher and a member of the International Congress of Science and Technology CICTeM. At the “Manuel de Falla” Superior Conservatory of Music he teaches composition and guitar. Federico Núñez has presented works, given concerts and master classes at numerous meetings and festivals in the USA, Latin America, Europe and Japan. As a guitarist and composer, he won awards, scholarships and did artistic residencies such as the 1st Prize in the “Cesar Cortinas” guitar contest in Uruguay; Municipal Award of the City of Buenos Aires (composition); The Fifth Annual Counterpoint International Competition from Italy; the Melos Gandini scholarship and the Residence for creators from Latin America and Haiti in Mexico (National Fund for Culture and Arts (FONCA-CONACULTA) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) among others. As a performer he represents D’addario strings, USA. His music is published by Editorial Cayambis Music Press (Latin-American sheet music), USA.
