The Terra Duo is made up of Andrea Barato and Emma Campàs, two young Catalan guitarists who interpret music from different styles and eras such as works by Isaac Albéniz, Joaquín Rodrigo, Astor Piazzolla, Béla Bartók and Paulo Bellinati, among others.
Andrea Barato del Álamo, born in Cornellá de Llobregat (Barcelona). He began studying classical guitar with Jordi Gironès Carreras, continued his training at the Josep Maria Ruera de Granollers Conservatory with Daniel Rubies Cenoz and is currently studying at the Liceu Superior Conservatory with maestro Guillem Pérez-Quer. Since 2020 she has been part of the Barcelona Guitar Orchestra conducted by maestro Sergi Vicente and since 2021 she is the concertmaster.
Emma Campàs i Alàs, born in Balaguer (Lleida), completed her elementary music studies at the municipal music school, later she studied the professional degree specializing in guitar at the Oriol Martorell artistic school institute, obtaining the honor prize at the same specialty. She is currently studying a higher degree in music at the Fundació Conservatori Liceu thanks to a scholarship granted by the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation.
