Winner of several composition awards, Maria offers us a musical journey made up of works that have influenced her, her own compositions and some other surprises.
Concerts

With her own projects and other collaborations, Maria has performed in national and international concert halls: London, Paris, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Barcelona, Madrid, Edinburgh, Brussels, Warsaw, Krakow, Mexico City, Chicago, Auckand… and participated at festivals such as: Barcelona Guitar Festival, City of London Festival, Bath Guitar Festival, London Guitar Festival, Buxton Festival, Kings Place Festival, Edinburgh Guitar Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Vaults Festival, Chicago Physical Festival, Classical Theater Festival of Almagro, Mexico City Classical Theater Festival, Francisco Tárrega Guitar Festival, Áureo Herrero Guitar Festival, Summer Classics, FIAS Madrid, Mediterranean Guitar Festival, etc.
She lived in London from 2008 to 2017, developing a concert career in which her facet as an arranger and composer was an essential element. In 2017 she returned to Barcelona, where she combines her career as an instrumentalist with her growing activity as a composer. In 2020 she was awarded Second Prize in the I Llobet Composition Contest for guitar, and Second Prize in the III Maria de Pablos International Composition Competition (Don Juan de Borbón Foundation). Last February she premiered her work for string quartet “Nóos”, commissioned by the FIAS 2021 festival (Madrid), and performed by the Bauhaus Quartet. She has recently been selected by the SGAE Foundation for the 2020 premiere incentives for her work Broken Landscapes, and she has won first prize in the IV Maria de Pablos International Competition. Her latest commission is the transcription by guitar duo of the work of Enric Escudé-Cofiner.
