Juan Ramón Arceo, a talented guitarist from Guadalajara, Jalisco, MMexico City, began his fascinating musical journey at the early age of 7, when he took his first steps into the world of guitar. Eight years later, he captivated his audience with his first formal recital at the prestigious Higinio Ruvalcaba Hall of the Ex-convento del Carmen Theater in his hometown. In 1999, he entered the Escuela de MHe received a degree in music from the University of Guadalajara, where he received a solid education under the tutelage of teachers Hugo Gracián and David Mozqueda, who guided and nurtured his constantly growing talent. The year 2001 marked a milestone in his career when he joined the Contemporary Guitar Quartet, an experience that gave him the opportunity to perform on various stages, including the Guadalajara May Cultural Festival, the Festival of the Arts in Zapopan, and the Festival of MChamber Music of the U. de G., among others, thus consolidating his reputation as an outstanding musician of his generation. Starting in 2002, together with Hugo Acosta, he founded the Catarsis Guitar Duo, a project that would take them on a successful tour of 30 concerts throughout the state of Jalisco, promoted by the Ministry of Culture. In addition, the duo participated in nationally renowned events, such as the IX Guitar Diploma in Tijuana and the VII National Guitar Ensemble Competition in the City of MMexico, where they demonstrated their skill and talent, being finalists in the latter. The continuous search for musical excellence led to Juan Ramón Arceo to complement his training with master classes given by distinguished guitar teachers such as Ricardo Cobo, Judicael Perroy, Joaquín Clerch, Pepe Romero and many others. These enriching experiences not only broadened his musical horizon, but also inspired him to continue perfecting his art and sharing his passion for the guitar with the world.
