The Opera Flamenca duo offers a flamenco show that is new in its format and inspiration.

One hundred years ago, flamenco experienced a brief but intense period known as the Flamenco Opera. Singers such as Manolo Caracol, Niña de les Pintes and Pepe Marchena triumphed on stage, dressing up flamenco in the form of copla, soleá, fandango, guajira and seguiriya. The artists mixed these styles freely, following their creative instinct.

The Opera Flamenca duo draws on this era to present an updated format, where the songs and styles are linked to each other and go hand in hand without any of them being more flamenco than the others.

The result is an amalgam in which each piece displays a varied emotional register, charged with the nostalgia of old flamenco, which at the same time is revitalized with that uncomplexed creative force characteristic of the era of Flamenco Opera.
