The original "Al-Hamra" Flamenco Guitar Quartet performs works composed by Manuel Granados and set to the most important guitarists of the second half of the 19th century. This repertoire invites us on a historical and musical journey through the different forms of composition for solo guitar and through the early generations of flamenco guitarists who set the stylistic standards with their playing, thanks to their technical contribution and the guitar styles they played, and who contributed to the consolidation of concert guitar playing and to the formation of the flamenco musical genre.
